How you start your day sets the tone for your day. If you ask someone who you’d consider to be successful what a typical day consists of for them, chances are you’d notice a pattern. You’d notice that there is some sort of routine that they follow each day that either directly contributes to their success, or just makes them a more disciplined/interesting/relaxed/motivated person.
When your life is particularly hectic and you feel like your losing your mind (Triggered right now? Me too), having a daily routine can help keep you grounded. It gives you a sense of purpose and direction. It makes you feel like you’ve accomplished something, even if it’s something small.
As it becomes the norm to take more and more on our plates, it’s important to find a center point of gravity, whatever that may be for you.
